Eng. Tendai Jambwa was born in 1964 and was educated at Nyatsime College and Prince Edward School in Harare. He obtained a B.Se Engineering degree in Civil Engineering From the University of Zimbabwe in 1988 and an M.Sc. (Eng.) degree specialising in Concrete Structures from Imperial College, University of London in 1991.
He trained as a Structural Engineer whilst working for the Ministry of Public Construction and National Housing gaining useful experience in design and supervision of several projects inclusive of supervision of Ministry of Public Construction nine storey building as well as the design of the ten storey Central Registry and Immigration Control Building.
